From Boy to Man: Family Rites of Passage

Is there a need for rites-of-passages for adolescent males in western cultures and societies?  Stephen Hicken’s answer is YES!

Stephen Hicken and family members have initiated eight young men including his four sons and four nephews.  Hicken organized and led his first family-based rite-of-passage in 1995 and most recently for his youngest son in 2009. 

This resource consists of a set of two DVDs that features a 2007 workshop offered by Hicken titled From Boy to Man: Family Rites of Passage for Adolescents and a manual that explains in detail how to create family rites of passage for young males.
